TRAVEL TEAMS include all U9-U18 Boys and Girls teams.
NRFC PREMIER SOCCER
NRFC Premier is a community-based program that focuses on developing our local New Rochelle talent by bringing on top talent and skilled players from southern Westchester county that are focused on premier level competition. We put our kids in a position to succeed at a more competitive level by focusing on quality and soccer IQ. Our premier teams compete in the highly competitive NYCSL/CYSL Premier Divisions and the USYS Eastern Developmental Program Leagues (EDP). As per this philosophy, our premier teams compete in local, regional, and nationally sanctioned USYS tournaments and even travel internationally for tournaments. If there is interest in pursuing your soccer dreams, we provide a pathway. We look forward to helping your child be the best they can be on the soccer field.
NRFC TRAVEL SOCCER
New Rochelle F.C. Travel is a part of the Westchester Youth Soccer League (WYSL). The mission of the WYSL and our travel teams is to foster the physical, mental, and emotional character development of youth by providing a safe, organized, fair and competitive game playing opportunities for our players.
The WYSL sponsors Fall and Spring seasonal travel soccer for its member clubs. Each season, the League awards the team in each division with the highest sportsmanship score with the Sportsmanship Award. The League also offers the prestigious Double-Goal Coach Award to the coaches of teams that win both the Sportsmanship Award and their Divisional Championship.
These teams are registered in the Westchester Youth Soccer League and play in the WYSL and various Premier Leagues such as the Westchester Cup, Westchester Premier, Summer League, Camps, and Winter Futsal. WYSL now offers a US Club id2 program for elite players.
Travel soccer requires around 3 ½ to 4 ½ hours per week throughout both the Fall and Spring seasons. Most Travel games are on Sundays; most Premier games are on Saturdays. Many teams also compete in popular holiday tournament weekends – Labor Day, Columbus Day and Memorial Day.
We will be forming new teams and anticipate adding new teams at several age groups. If you are interested in coaching our team manager positions, please contact our Travel Director of Coaching, Malcolm Brown, @ Malcolm@klassicsoccer.com.
